Welcome to our class! In this class, we will practice acceptance, tolerance and appreciation for all individuals and all cultures and backgrounds. We will speak kindly to and of others and we will always lend our hand to anyone in need. We will give it our all and we will always strive to be the best versions of ourselves.
Through communication between us and your child, through patience and understanding, through dedication and exploration, together, we will help your child soar and expand horizons. I am so happy to have you in our class! |
Homework for any given day will be to read for at least 20 minutes a day and to finish any unfinished class work.
Please read with your child, to your child or have your child read to you for 20 minutes each night to help them build his or her foundation in and love of reading. Unfinished classwork or work missed due to absence will be sent home with your child to be completed and brought back the next day. Please feel free to contact me at any time regarding the homework policy. I am more than willing to work with you. |
Parent/teacher conferences will be held for all students during the first part of the school year. A sign-up sheet will be sent home when the time gets closer.
After the initial meeting, conferences will only be held if you or I feel that one is necessary. This can be arranged over the phone or through email. Please feel free to contact me at any time regarding your child's status or progress. |
