Classrooms today are changing rapidly. More and more teachers are switching from a teacher centered approach to a more student centered environment. Students are being given more responsibility and authority over their own learning. Many new teaching strategies have been developed to accommodate the changes. I have a few of them on this page so that you may learn more about them.
The Flipped Classroom: The flipped classroom is a teaching strategy that focuses on student exploration and experimentation in the classroom while the teacher takes on the role of facilitator, providing guiding questions but not giving the answers. Lesson content can often be viewed at home or somewhere outside of the classroom and outside of classroom time.
